What’s the difference between
power washing,pressure washing
and soft washing?

These terms are often used interchangeably, and/or mixed together. It can be confusing! However, there are a couple of key differences: Power washing and pressure washing are the same thing. It’s a method of washing a surface, with power. The amount of pressure (or power) used varies depending on the job. The power in question, comes from the water being pressurized, or pushed, through hoses and a spraying mechanism. Usually via a gas or electric pump unit. The majority of the cleaning comes from the actual impact of the water on the surface.

On the other hand, soft washing is a lighter, more delicate type, of power washing. Many times the same pumps and hoses, but much lighter pressure: just enough to spray. Soft washing relies primarily on the soaps and solvents that are applied, to do the cleaning. Vinyl siding is a great example — you don’t want real high pressure hitting that. So soft washing, being sprayed lightly with a mold-killing mix and left to “dwell” or sit on the surface, is perfect for vinyl siding.

We take every precaution so this does NOT happen, and it should never be a reason to not have your property cleaned and maintained. We carefully evaluate the surfaces and requirements of each job and plan accordingly with the appropriate equipment. Very rarely, a piece of vinyl siding can come loose when water is applied, however that is usually easily fixed. In the very unlikely event significant damage ever occurred from any of our services, we will always pay for repairs. And of course, we are fully insured for both residential and commercial properties.

Will my property be damaged from water pressure?

The short answer is no. We can do all of our estimates and work when no one is home, as long as the property is accessible and your exterior water connections are working and turned on. The exception to this is if you are requesting service to a commercial property, in which case we will need someone to be on site during our visit. We do like to meet our customers though, so we would be thrilled to see you when you are home or at your place of business!

Do I need to be on site for my service?

Yes! However, additional travel fees may apply. Each request will be assessed on a case by case scenario.

Can I still use your services if I am outside of your listed service areas?
